Below, the script allows to compute the sound reduction index (R) for a single leaf partition of mass density $\rho$, thickness $h$ and for an angle of plane wave incidence $\theta$.
The expression used for this computation is:

$R = 10 \log \left[ 1 + \omega^{2} \displaystyle{\left(\frac{\rho h \cos(\theta)}{2 Z_{0}}}\right)^{2} \right]$ (2)

where $\omega=2\pi f$ is the angular frequency and $Z_{0} is the characteristic impedance of air (taken equal to 408 kg.m-2.s-1).
